Make your own homemade Carpet freshener

Here's a recipe for a homemade carpet freshener you can make very quickly.

You need:

• three-quarters cup of baking soda
• one-quarter cup of tal­cum powder
• two tablespoons of cornstarch.

Mix together all of the above powders and then add a little of your favorite scent. Sprinkle the powder over your carpet and let it sit for at least 15 minutes, then vacuum.
