You can prevent carpets made of synthetic fibres from collecting so much dust by spraying them with this homemade preparation.
To make 1 1/4 pints/ 725 ml
Mix the water and fabric softener together in a bowl or jug and then transfer the solution to a spray bottle. Spray the liquid lightly and evenly all over the carpet surface. Allow to dry naturally.
