I have a couple of recipes to make your own facial masks. So save yourself a few pennies and treat yourself to one of these treatments The following recipe will smooth away any wrinkles and moisten dry skin on your face. To make enough for 1 treatment
Place the egg in a small bowl and beat it thoroughly. Slowly add the honey and coconut oil, beating until the mixture is about the same consistency as mayonnaise. Take a left over empty toilet roll and place plastic wrap over one end to hold the mixture in. Hold it upright over the bowl and spoon the mixture into it. Place the roll in the freezer. To use, peel away some of the cardboard and rub the frozen stick over your face and leave for 5-10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water. This mixture will keep for several months in your freezer if after use you cover the used end with some more plastic wrap and return it to the freezer. The next recipe will clean and revitalise tired skin. To make enough for 1 treatment
Mix the ingredients in a bowl with a blender. Apply the mask to your face, avoiding the area around the eyes, and leave it to dry for about 20 minutes. Rinse off. It is best to mix a fresh batch of the mask each time of use, although you can freeze it in an ice-cube tray, for future use. This next recipe is a herbal face mask This herbal face mask cleans skin and tightens pores. To make enough for 1 treatment
Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl. Apply the mixture to your lace and neck and leave it to dry. Then rinse it off with warm water. Make a fresh batch each time. |
