Make your own homemade Spray starch

A cheap, easy-to-prepare shirt starch. Use 1 tablespoon of the corn-flour to make up a light starch, and up to 3 tablespoons for a stiffer finish.

To make 16 floz/450ml

  • 1-3 tablespoons cornflour
  • Cold water

Mix the cornflour and water in a 1 pint/570ml spray bottle that gives a fine spray mist. Store out of the reach of children. To use the spray starch, shake well, spray the area to be stiffened and then iron immediately.
